The 2008 Election is Over

Well, we have a new President-elect and thanks to the liberal, far left electorate this country will NEVER be the same. While I'm glad to see that this country has reached the point of overlooking a man's skin color to vote a black man into the White House, the man's ultra liberal, socialist policies will forever change the USA.

One of the things he wants to do is to take away our freedom to own a gun. I've been putting off buying a gun as part of my preps and just as part of being a single woman living in the country. I think I'd better get out and buy that rifle or shotgun before the end of the year. That way I'll have it and the ammo for hunting and "varmint" control.

I would advise every person who reads this to redouble your efforts at preparedness. This is NOT the time to slack off. I believe the window of opportunity to prepare is rapidly shrinking, and I'm thankful for each extra day.

Why do I feel such a lack of hope for the future for America? For the last few weeks when I would think about the election I kept remembering what happened to ancient Israel. They wanted a king. They wanted to be like other nations around them. God warned 'em, "you'll be sorry. A king will tax you, enslave you, take your property, make you go to war and lead you away from God." They said, "we don't care. We want a king!"

God let 'em have their king(s) and everything He warned them about came to pass.

The American people have elected their king and the change that's coming isn't going to be anything like they want.

Sound the Trumpet

This evening I picked up the book "Set the Trumpet to Thy Mouth" by David Wilkerson. I'd read it before, but wanted to check it out once again in light of my own understanding of what scripture says about the last days. I especially wanted to remind myself of what David Wilkerson had to say about the judgment and fall of America, which is what the book is about.

Imagine my surprise when I got to the section, titled "Warning Signs". The words could have been taken from today's headlines, literally. Read this excerpt:

"Before the great holocaust there will be smaller holocausts -- the oil fields of the middle east will be ablaze, and the smoke will rise night and day as a warning of the greater holocaust yet to come. There will be bombs falling on oil fields, on shipping docks and storage tanks. There will be panic among all oil producer, and shippers, and upon all nations dependent on that oil.

This parts of the next excerpt reads like a special report on the evening news: (emphasis mine)

Soon, very soon, an economic nightmare will explode into reality. What frightful news it will be! "O thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, and the measure of thy covetousness" (Jeremiah 51:13). America is about to face a time of mass hysteria, as banks close and financial institutions crumble and our economy spins totally out of control. Gold and silver will also lose their value."

"They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them..." (Ezekiel 7:27)"

"The chaos that is coming cannot be stopped by our government..."

"Scoff if you choose, but the underlyiing fears about a collapse will soon become a tragic reality. Numerous cracks will appear in our fragile prosperity, and soon even the most optimistic will know in their hearts that a total collapse is certain. Senators and congressmen will sit in stunned silence as they realize no one can stop the tailspin into chaos. Business, political, and economic leaders will be terrorized by its suddenness and its far-reaching effect."

Sound familiar?

"Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it" (Ezekiel 14:13)."

Could the end be closer than we want to think?

"The great holocaust follows an economic collapse in America. The enemy will make its move when we are weak and helpless."

Sounds like Wilkerson quoted from the news headlines? Think again. The book was published in 1985! Could he have seen in the scriptures and by the Spirit of God the judgment coming on America?

I guess we'll just have to wait and see...however, I'd suggest you start doing some prepping in the meantime. You see, there will be survivors to the judgment that is coming.

Beast of the Earth?

I believe the fourth horse has begun to ride, and we will soon see death from famine in countries that have never experience famine. Another means of death mentioned in the verse below is the "beasts of the earth".

Rev 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

For many years whenever I read this I couldn't really see how the beasts of the earth would be killing people. Was it talking about some of the kinds of things seen in some of those "B" movies featuring certains animals, snakes or insects killing every human unfortunate enough to get in their way? Movies that showed frogs, ants, snakes, spiders and even rabbits running amok, usually as a result of human stupidity.

Here's a list of just some of the diseases that could easily go out of control, all transmitted by some member of the animal kingdom.

Bird flu: H5N1 infections are becoming the rule rather then the exception in farmed poultry worldwide, and even wild birds are showing signs of infection more often. It has forced the culling of millions of ducks, chickens and geese globally—and has killed more than 240 people—resulting in at least $100 billion in economic losses.

Babesiosis: This malarialike disease carried by ticks is endemic in the tropics, but has cropped up everywhere from Italy to Long Island, N.Y. It is rare in humans at present and seldom deadly (treatable with antibiotics) but may become more problematic as the globe warms, providing more welcoming environments.

Cholera: This bacterium thrives in warmer waters and causes diarrhea so severe that it can kill within a week. Without improved sanitation, rising global temperatures will increase deadly outbreaks.

Ebola: This virus is lethal to humans and other primates, and has no cure. In addition, it is unclear where the disease, which causes fever, vomiting and internal or external bleeding, comes from—though scientists suspect fruit bats. What is clear is that outbreaks tend to follow unusual downpours or droughts in central Africa—a likely result of climate change.

Parasites: Many spread easily between humans, livestock and wildlife. Higher average temperatures and more rainfall will help many parasites, such as the tiny worms known as Baylisascaris procyonis that are spread by raccoons, to thrive in the wild before finding a host.

Lyme disease: This bacterium-caused disease will spread as climate changes extend the ranges of the ticks that carry it.

Plague: Changes in temperature and rainfall will affect rodent populations globally as well as the infected fleas they carry.

"Red tides": Poisonous algal blooms in coastal waters may increase as a result of warming temperatures or changes in littoral sea life.

Rift Valley fever: A newly emergent virus, carried by mosquitoes that causes fever and weakness, has spread quickly through Africa and the Middle East, killing people, along with camels, cattle, goats and sheep.

Sleeping sickness: Global warming will change the distribution of the tsetse fly that carries the disease, now infecting more than 300,000 people yearly in Africa. Victims become lethargic and may suffer severe swelling of the lymph nodes.

Tuberculosis: Both the human and livestock varieties of TB are likely to increase, particularly the latter as droughts bring livestock and wildlife into closer proximity at watering holes.

Yellow fever: Mosquitoes spread this disease, which causes fever and jaundicelike symptoms, between wildlife and humans, and will likely spread into new areas as the climate changes.

Winds and Waves Roaring

Anyone who has been reading my blog, knows that I firmly believe that Jeremiah 50 & 51 is a prophecy not only about ancient Babylon, but about the end days Babylon of the United States. After these last few weeks of hurricanes, I wanted to point out some of the scriptures in these chapters that did not apply to ancient Babylon and could only apply to a different Babylon.

Jer 51:42 The sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.

Ancient Babylon only had a small strip of land that was coastal. The rest of the country was totally landlocked. It would therefore have been impossible for much of Ancient Babylon to have been covered by waves. However, we have all seen the newscasts showing the images of Florida, the Gulf Coast, New Orleans, Houston and Galvaston flooded.

Jer 51:55 Because the LORD hath spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice; when her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of their voice is uttered:

Jer 51:1 Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against me, a destroying wind;

No one who reads the Bible, who believes in God's judgment, can see what is going on and not realize that we are seeing the beginning of God's judgment of America. How much worse is it going to be? At 51 years old, I have never seen a hurricane hit the coast and then travel thousands of miles inland leaving hurricane-like devastation in its wake.

This last weekend Hurricane Ike struck the Texas coast, leaving Galvaston destroyed. It then traveled north across Texas, and then turned northeast and travelled across the midwest where high winds left downed trees and powerlines in Ohio and Indiana. Today, Monday, this same storm is crouching over New England.

Not only that, but we are seeing a wave of financial institutions being toppled by the winds of economic depression. The devastation in the wake of the economic storm is going to be even more devastating that what we saw in New Orleans and now in south Texas.

I fully expect to see this judgment spread across the country. While the east coast has been hit pretty hard, the west coast has had some quiet. There's a sense in my spirit that the next disaster will be on the west coast. What? I don't know. Perhaps an earthquake, another volcano? I just know that we are seeing God's hand of judgment upon this land that once professed to be a Godly nation.

For those of you who haven't prepared physically, there's still time for you to get what you need to help your family in the event you are forced to evacuate. I've watched the news this weekend of thousands and tens of thousands of people who were forced to evacuate who had NOTHING. They were going to be totally dependent upon the charity of the government agencies.

However, occasionally you would see a person or family where each person wore a backpack or carried a large bag. While they are also being forced to evacuate, those folks didn't have that look of desperation seen on the faces of so many others. It is very possible that those backpacks and bags were actually completely stocked go bags, bug out bags, disaster survival kits, etc. Whatever they were, those folks were better prepared than others.

If you don't have a go bag for each person in your family, then you need to get a move on! Not sure what a go bag, bug out bag or disaster survival kit is? Then visit Survival Homestead where will find all different types of kits, but also instructions on how to put together your own bag.

Wake Up Christians, Judgment is Coming!

It's 3:00 am and I'm sitting at my computer, when I'd much rather be in bed sleeping. However, after lying in bed for an hour with the words of this message running thru my head, I decided to obey the Lord and put out this warning: Wake up Christians, Judgment is Coming!

You're going, "yeah, yeah. Heard it all before...sure judgment is coming, but God said we weren't 'appointed to wrath', [1Th5:9] so I don't have to worry because the rapture is going to occur and I'm gonna be gone." WRONG!

You're right, believers are not called to suffer God's wrath...but (and this is a big BUT)...God's judgment and wrath are two different things. The Great Tribulation is NOT all God's wrath. Instead Rev 12:12 says that it is Satan's wrath because "he knows he has but a short time".

Instead God's wrath begins at a time described when the sun is darkened and the moon turns red and is described throughout the Bible as the Day of the Lord (See "Day of the Lord", click 'newer post' at the bottom to follow the study.)

However, before the Day of the Lord, there's a lot of nasty things that take place on earth. There are judgments, as God tries to wake up a sinful world to their need of repentance. There's also Satan's wrath aka "the Tribulation". And Jesus was very clear when he said that it would be "after the tribulation" that the sun would be darkened and the moon "not give her light". [Mat24:29, Mar13:24]

So if you've been taught that Christians will "fly away" and not have to experience the tribulation, then you were taught wrong. Jesus, Himself said that the gathering of the "elect" would occur AFTER the tribulation:

Mat 24:29-31 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

It's very clear that "after the tribulation" the Day of the Lord occurs, which also signifies the beginning of God's wrath being pour out, "and then" everyone will "see the Son of man" (Jesus) "coming in the clouds" "and" he (Jesus) will "send his angels" with a great "sound of a trumpet" and they will "gather his elect".

If you were to read a book where an event was described, such as: "after work" he went home, "and then" he fixed supper "and" watched the evening news. When retelling the story would you say that the character in the story "fixed supper and watched the news and then left work"? Of course, not!

Then why do people read the words of Jesus and say that the rapture of the church occurs before the tribulation???!!! The "catching away" of the church DOES NOT happen before the tribulation. No where in the Bible does it say that.

A verse often quoted when speaking of the "rapture" is 1Co15:52 "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

Only one place in the Bible when it talks about end-time events is there a mention of trumpets sounding and that's in Revelation 8:6 to 11:15 where it speaks about the trumpet judgments. It is at the sounding of the 7th trumpet (the "last trumpet") that signifies the beginning of the pouring out of the wrath of God (the 7 vials). Therefore the "last trumpet" is the same as the "7th trumpet", and is the same "sound of a trumpet" that Jesus mentions in Mat24:31 when the angels are sent to "gather his elect".

It is very clear that the "rapture" occurs at the last trumpet of the 7 trumpet judgments and is when the "elect" are "gathered" to be with the Lord.

If there is no "rapture" of the Church before the tribulation then what does it mean for Christians? It means that you need to have been preparing like Noah did "for the saving of his household" (notice how the time of Noah is mentioned by Jesus in Mat24. Noah prepared and God protected him while he brought judgment on the rest of the world).

For those living in the United States the time to prepare may be coming to an end as God's judgment begins to fall on a nation that has basically turned her back on God. While there are many Christians in the US who love the Lord, the vast majority of the people and the government have rejected God. Therefore, the time of her judgment is at hand. (See "America Babylon", click 'newer post' at the bottom of each page to follow the study)

Here are just a few reasons why I believe that the time of America Babylon's judgment may occur this fall according to Jeremiah 50-52 (Read the chapters and look for these phrases and words):

"time of the harvest"
"sower"
"sea is come upon Babylon"
"covered with waves"
"waves do roar like great water"

all of which indicate the fall of the year, "harvest" and fall "sower" and the "waves" roaring and covering the land possibly indicative of hurricane season in the US...and remember ancient Babylon only had a tiny strip of land that was actually on the sea, the rest of the country was totally landlocked, therefore the sea couldn't do a lot of damage to ancient Babylon.

So if you're just now realizing that you've been taught wrong and that you haven't prepared, all is not lost. Instead you are coming upon a time that will test your faith as never before, but it will also be a time of seeing the hand of God work in your life like never before.

If you want to know what God will do, then look at what He's done. He doesn't change.

I don't believe it is a coincidence that Babylon was used by God to describe the future nation of the US and her judgments. Indeed I think God used it so that those who know Him and know the Word would see the wonderful deliverance and protection He gave to those who followed Him during the time of ancient Babylon. Then knowing that God is "the same yesterday, today and forever" they would understand that just as He protected the three Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace and protected Daniel in the lions' den, that the same protection would be afforded to those who did not bow their knee to the government/god/ruler of their day.

Here's just a brief list of some of the ways God historically protected and provided for His people:
  • sent manna from heaven - Exo16:15 - God will provide food
  • shoes did not wear out - Deu29:5 - Clothes/shoes will not wear out
  • provided water - Deu8:15 - even in drought, God will provide water
  • supernatural guidance - Exo13:21 - pillars of fire and cloud
  • protection from fire - Dan3:27 - protection from nuclear blast?
  • angels lead from destruction - Gen19:16 - Lot out of Sodom
  • deliverance from unjust incarceration - Acts16:25

I believe that the Word teaches that we can expect the same miraculous provision, protection and deliverance by the hand of God that He has demonstrated in the past. Jesus Himself said that the thing that He did that we will do also...so we can expect that there will come a time when we will give thanks for a little bit of food and see it feed a multitude of hungry people.

This warning may fall on deaf ears or reach those who are convinced that they know what the Bible says (even tho they haven't really done the research for themselves, but have just accepted what they've been taught), however I will have done my part and been obedient to the Lord.

So even if you think I'm a crackpot and totally off base, make sure you know the Word of God, and remember: "if you want to know what God will do, look at what He's done."

End of the Time of the Gentiles?

Last week there was a discussion on the Tribulation Preparedness yahoo group about the significance of 8-8-08. I mentioned that a certain televangelist had really emphasised the importance of 8-8-08, saying that it signified "completion" and a "new beginning".

The question came back: "Well what could be completed?"

When I read the question, the answer that immediately came into my spirit was "the time of the Gentiles".

Luk 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

This has been taken to be that unspecified period of time between the 69 weeks of years and the last week of years appointed to the nation of Israel. The last week also being the time of the Tribulation.

When the answer came into my spirit that 8-8-08 signified the end of the time of the gentiles, I immediately replied to the email/post. I then proceeded to read the other responses that had come in prior to my email response.

You can only imagine the jump in my spirit when I opened a post/email from the owner of the group. Her answer to the "completion" signified by 8-8-08 was: "could it be the end of the time of the gentiles?"

I believe that we have indeed seen the end of the time of the gentiles and that very very shortly events will begin to occur which will indicate that the tribulation has indeed begun.

For the United States it could also mean that the time of her judgment is upon her. Historically, whenever God judged Israel for her sins, He used other nations to come against her in war and to spoil her. Since God doesn't change, I believe that America will soon be attacked in a way that will make 9/11 look like a firecracker compared to a nuke.

I cannot get over the feeling, the certainty in my spirit, that the time to prepare has just about come to an end. At that point, if we're not spiritually ready then all our physical preps will be for nothing. However, if we know the Word and have committed our way to the Lord, He will provide.

Flying Thru the Clouds

Last week I flew to Florida. Because I had a window seat I was able to look out as we were flying. At one point the plane ended up flying above the clouds.

Looking up, the sky was a clear blue, while below and ahead were the billowy white clouds. Since I'm one of those type of people that likes to know where I'm going and what I'm going to do, I realized that all I could do was trust that the pilot knew where we were going.

Occasionally I could look out and see the ground directly below, but when I looked ahead, I could only see the white clouds that obscured the ground.

Suddenly I realized that that was a good analogy of my Christian walk especially when it comes to end times prophecy. All I can see most of the time is what is happening right now. Occasionally thru the Word we can get a glimpse of what's ahead, but usually future events are hidden in the mists of time.

That is why it is absolutely vital that I know that Christ is in the pilot's seat, He knows exactly what's ahead and as long as I trust Him I'll get where I'm going. However, I must allow Him to be the pilot, I can't even be the co-pilot...I must just be a passenger, putting my full trust in a Pilot I cannot see.

Who's in your pilot seat? Is it you? If so, how do you know where you're going? Flying by the seat of your pants is not the way to get to your desired destination. You might want to consider inviting Jesus Christ to take the seat and become the Pilot of your life.

Guaranteed the clouds ahead are looking dark and menacing. The only sure way to navigate the looming storm is to trust in your Pilot to get you through.

In response to a comment on a group I belong to:

I grew up believing in a pre-trib rapture. However, in my mid-30's I began a study of the timing of the rapture and it was then that the Holy Spirit (I believe) directed me to create on a sheet of paper a simple chart. There were three columns: "Pre", "Mid", "Post" (now understood as "pre-wrath") .

Then I took my Strong's Concordance and found every scripture in the Bible that mentioned the rapture. Now that was a little tricky because there is nowhere in the Bible that the word "rapture" is used. So of course I was looking for evidence of the "catching away" "meeting in the air" etc.

Any scripture that fit a timing designation was placed in that column. What I ended up with was: 3 single scriptures, taken out of context in the "pre-trib" column; 1 single scripture, taken out of context in the "mid-trib" column; and entire chapters in the "post-trib/pre- wrath" column!

That was all done without the aid of the computer. Since then I have done a number of studies with the aid of a computerized study bible, and the conclusion remains the same: The pre-trib rapture is NOT biblical.

Here are some problems with the pre-trib rapture theory (aside from the fact that it was never heard of until around the early 1800's when a young Scottish girl "saw" the pre-trib rapture during a trance. The theory was brought to the US by a man named John Darby).

Problems:

No where in the Bible does it indicate that there is going to be a "secret" return of Jesus Christ...a "3rd coming" so to speak. Instead Jesus second return is described as being highly visible ("like lightening from the east to the west"), extremely noisy "at the last trumpet" "with a shout".

Mentioning the trumpet: the rapture is to occur at the "last trump"...since there's only one place in the Bible where there is a mention of more than one trumpet sounding in regards to end-time events, the "last trump" must be the 7th trumpet.

There another problem with the pre-trib rapture theory: after the rapture all believers are to partake of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb...well if there is a pre-trib rapture taking only those who are believers at the time of the rapture, but there are many who will come to believe during the tribulation. ..are they "second-class" members of the Bride? Because they are obviously left out of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb because it occurs during the tribulation on earth.

That is entirely unbiblical (the last to work is not paid any less than those who first came to work).

Those are just a few of the problems among many with the pre-trib rapture theory. It's fine to wait to see, but for many (especially in the US) or those who were raised in the church being taught a pre-trib rapture they are under the impression that once the Christians disappear that they will still have time to get right with God and are willing to go through the tribulation so they can do what they want right now.

Surprise! That isn't going to happen. Fence-sitters and those who are back-slidden, wanting to partake of the "pleasures of the world", are going to be those who will accept the anti-Christ first (God will send them strong delusion that they might believe the lie "because they loved not the truth"). There is no second chance. One must either be serving God at the time of the rapture and thus go to meet the Lord in the air or they will be forever lost and probably die during the time immediately following the rapture when God pours on His wrath on a rebellious world.

Revelations - Literal or Symbolic

There was a discussion on a one of the groups about whether Revelation was supposed to be a literal or symbolic prophecy. Here's my answer.

The problem I have with this absolute "literal" interpretation is that how does one handle the following scriptures?

Rev 9:7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.

Rev 9:8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.

Rev 9:9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.

Rev 9:10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.

Rev 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

You can't have it both ways. John was describing 21st century technology with 1st century understanding. For example:

Rev 8:8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; Here is "something" that resemble a mountain that's burning cast into the sea...that sounds more like a "planet X" burning as it enters the atmosphere.

Rev 8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

Rev 8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

Is there really a "white horse", or a "red horse" that we're going to see? I don't think so. I think much of Revelation must be looked at in light of current events and recent history.

Imagine if you were John and the vision you were given showed a light as bright as the sun "falling" to earth... "burning"...what if what you were seeing was a nuclear missile "burning" as it headed to it's target? What if the reference to Wormword isn't referring to a planet but to a time when mankind develops the ability to destory the entire planet with the same by-product produced at a place called Chernobyl? Just an idea.

I think much of Revelation can only be deciphered as one looks back on the 19th and 20th centuries. I believe each seal covers specific events, eras, governments, etc. that have occurred in those time periods.

White horse - covers the most time and I believe is directly tied to the era when the British government was at the height of it's empire...it conquered a number of lands claiming them for the "crown"

Red horse - In the 20th century Communism has definitely "taken peace" from the earth. It came into power around 1917 and resulted in massive deaths.

Black horse - Perhaps the time of the Great Depression, which then led to the WWII

Pale Horse - is already riding, as the 20th century has seen the greatest number of deaths worldwide due to war, famine, and even bacteria and viruses

The 5th seal...had a thought the other night that this seal could already have been open, as the 20th century into the 21st century as seen the greatest number of Christians, worldwide, killed for their faith.

Therefore, I believe we are waiting for the opening of the 6th seal.

I believe the trumpets cover events that are much shorter in duration, but are significant enough to be noticed as being a fulfillment of scripture and therefore a sign of the times. I do believe they happen concurrent with the opening of the seals.

California's Burnin'!

California's burnin', looking in some areas like the Waiting Room of Hell. Over 800 wildfires are destroying land, homes and dreams, and for many people that is Hell. What I find particularly interesting about the fires in California, is that they seem to be burning in a semi-circle... with San Francisco in the center.

Here's my take: I'm not surprised. To say I expected something to happen this week to California would be absolute truth. Ya see, those in authority in California decided that it was okay if two people of the same gender went through a ceremony to "join" them together for life. Then shaking their fist in the face of God, they dared to call it marriage!

Is it judgment? Only God knows.

This was picked up on one of the survival preparedness groups I belong to. Is it possible? Sure it is. I do think it is very interesting how much of what was discussed is what was prophesied by Dudeman years ago...especially the civil unrest. Here is what was reported:

Secret Meeting of The US CongressMarch 16, 2008 2:58 P.M.Special "CLOSED SESSION' of THE U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTITIVES DISCUSSED ALOT MORE THAN THE PENDING SECURITY, SURVEILLANCE PROVISIONS.. !

This was only the fourth time in 176 years that Congress has closed its doors to the public...... What was it that they were discussing, that they DO NOT want us to know about? Word has begun leaking from that, nights special, "Closed-Door- Session" of the United States House of Representatives.

Not only did members discuss new surviellance provisions, as was the publicly stated reason for the closed door session, they also discussed:

1. The imminent collapse of US economy to occur by September 2008

2. The imminent collapse of US federal government finances by February 2009.

3. The possibility of Cival War inside of the USA, as a result of the collapse

4. Advanced round-ups of "Insurgent U.S. citizens", likely to move against the Government.. ..

5. The detention of those rounded-up at "REX 84" camps constructed though out the USA...

6. The possibility of retaliation against members of congress for the collapses.

7. The Location of "Safe Facilities" for members of Congress and their families to reside in during expected massive civil unrest...

8. The necessary and unavoidable merger of The United States with Canada...(for its natural resources) and with Mexico (for its cheap labor)

9. The issuance of a new curency - THE AMERO - for all three nations as The Proposed Solution to the coming "Economic Armageddon"

Members of Congress were FORBIDDEN to reveal what was discussed. Several are Furious and Concerned about the future of this country.... as they have begun leaking info. More details will be coming later.

I don't like to be an alamist, but I do think our time is short to perpare and get into place.

Representatives and other eliteist don't prepare because they know they have a place to go and will be taken care of. They don't need to. See who's in your area. Watch things around you and when you see people starting to "vacation" all at the same time you better be heading where ever you need to be. Just keep your eyes and ears open.

If there was ever a time to get prepared the time is now. Forget vacations this year...put every penny into getting ready. I'm seeing storm clouds on the horizon, dark and thick, towering so high as to virtually block out the light of the sun...looming and ominous.

Has California Sealed America's Fate?

I used to live in California and I can tell you it really is a "cereal state" ...full of fruits, nuts and flakes! And I know there are Christians living there, but if there was ever a time to cry "get out while the gettin's good!" it's now.

As of today, despite the vote of the citizens of California, gays marriage is now legal. I could care less if they call it a "marriage"... anyone with half a brain knows that a union between two individuals of the same sex is NOT and NEVER WILL BE a marriage! However, California is flaunting their sin and throwing it up into the face of God!

Forget "duck and cover"...now it's...as I've heard it so crudely put..."bend over and kiss your butt goodbye!" Unfortunately this decision in California is going to spread like the plague to the rest of the country...it already is. What this means is that God has had it.

Does anyone else wonder at the horrendous "natural disasters" plaguing the US right now? Is it possible that the judgement that began with 9/11 and continued thru Katrina is even now worsening? Look...while the center of the country is drowing in floods, California is burning! Look at the terrible tornados and what they have done this year. Does anyone remember the fires in Florida? How about the terrible blizzards and ice storms. Now it's a 500-year flood! Supposedly the last time it occured the only ones who saw it were the buffalo and prairie dogs!

Is anyone awake?

In addition to the California decision, our President is determined to get Israel to sign away part of her land. Anytime the US has done that, we have suffered the consequences. Now there's talk about the nukes that are already in place in the US, just waiting for the "go" from Al Qaida and other terrorists.

This country has turned her back on God. We're sacrificing children to the god of self-indulgence and greed, the government has become a puppet for power-hungry liars, it's possible an Arab-American could be elected as president (God help us all!), and perversion now tries to change the decrees of God.

We are in sooooo much trouble!

Dreams and Visions

Yesterday, as I watched the evening news and saw how the price for a barrel of oil had reached well over $130 a barrel, and that the prediction was that it would go to $150 before July 4th, I was reminded of Dimitru Duduman's dreams and visions.

Years ago I had heard about this guy from Romania who had come to the United States and was telling about these dreams and visions he'd been having showing the coming destruction of the United States. I finally got the little book that detailed all of his prophecies.

What I had specifically remembered was that the main vision/dream had mentioned a time when "from the middle of the country, some of the people will start fighting against the government"...what could bring the people to a point of fighting the government? With the price of oil and over 7 million...yes, 7 million people in the United States are unemployed, people are getting scared. While the government fails to control the price of gasoline, the oil companies are getting richer (ridiculously so) and middle class America is rapidly sinking into first-time poverty.

People who have been those that contribute to the food banks are now the ones having to ask for help. The only problem with the food banks, is that you don't get enough food to live on. Perhaps that varies from area to area, but I've been at the point in the past where I've had to get food from a food bank, and for the most part there's not enough to really feed a family for even a week, and some of the food banks only allow a person to come ONCE A MONTH!

America, the breadbasket of the world, is facing a time of starvation, and unfortunately most of the country is still so caught up with the NEW opiate of the masses - Entertainment (television, movies, sports) that as long as they have their drug of choice, they don't even realize that the world as they know it has forever changed!

I would recommend that you read the Dreams and Visions of Dimitru Duduman. You judge whether they are true or not...just remember: God has been known to delay judgment for the sake of the elect and repentance, which may explain why America is still standing. However I think the time of delay has passed and before too long America will be facing the judgment of a righteous God.

Hint if you live in California, Las Vegas, New York or Florida you might be especially interested in the vision titled "America Will Burn" from September 1984.

Worse Than Katrina?

Last night my aunt gave me a printout from a preacher named John Kilpatrick about a brief vision and dream he has had in the last couple of months. Normally, I'm skeptical about stuff like this, but this has such a ring of truth that I wanted to pass it along.

On Sunday April 27, 2008 as he was walking into church he had a vision that lasted for about two or three seconds. In his words, "I saw the ground buckling before me. It was so real that I actually moved aside to avoid what I was seeing. I knew immediately that it was an earthquake, and the thought crossed my mind that the damages of this earthquake could have the potential to exceed those of Hurricane Katrina of 2005. Please understand that I am not saying that the Lord told me this; it merely crossed my mind.

Then on Tuesday, May 20 he awoke from a dream "trembling and shaking at 5:00 in the morning." He feels that this dream was tied to the vision he had on April 27th.

"In this dream I saw the words "wind and water." I only saw the words but did not actually see any wind or water damage. I then found myself overlooking a river which instantly became so wide that I could no longer see either of its banks."

"The dream then shifted, and I was with one of my parishioners running through what appeared to be an old abandoned school house. This empty building began to shake. The shaking was so violent and severe that it was like the bucking of a wild horse tossing us around. My teeth were clapping so hard from the impact that I tried to clench them to prevent this from happening."

"In this dream I knew I was experiencing a massive earthquake. The sounds were so catastrophic that the thought crossed my mind that the devastation could likely exceed Hurricane Katrina of 2005. I did not see the devastation behind me; I only heard it. In all of my life I have never heard such catastrophic sounds. These were the scariest sounds I have ever heard."

"The dream then shifted once more and concluded with two names on what appeared to be an old Spanish Map. One name read Indianola and the other Europa. When I awoke I was shaking as if I had chills and a fever. I could not stop trembling. All through the day I felt as if I had just had the dream 10 minutes ago."

"The dream so shook me that my wife and I immediately went to the Internet to do some research. I also contacted some close friends in the ministry and reliable intercessors concerning this dream. What we found was startling. There are towns called Indianola, IL; Europa, MO; and Indianola, MS. These towns runs in a line from North to South with Europa MO being near the middle of them. The Mississippi River runs between them with Europa, MO being by the epicenter of the New Madrid fault."

"After seeing this I believe the dream could be concerning a devastating earthquake on the New Madrid fault. Many reputable friends in ministry have felt that this dream was not to be interpreted as a spiritual dream because they felt that it has literal implications. Even now the intensity of this dream is the same."

He then goes on to say that he's not sharing this to frighten anyone, but that he believes that God gave this vision and dream "as a warning to prepare us for the days ahead". He also says that he did not see any time frame as to when this may happen".

Whether you want to believe that the Bible is the Word of God or not, you need to know that it does say that in the last days there will be devastating earthquakes. It also says that God doesn't do anything before He reveals it to His prophets first (Amos 3:7).

Preparing With the Wrong Attitude Could be Fatal

A group of Christian survivalists were discussing how that many survivalists talk about defending their supplies with force. Here's my take on that:

"Personally, I believe that many of those who are preparing with a wrong attitude will either have an attitude adjustment courtesy of the Lord or will find themselves one of the dying masses.

The Word says: "The wealth of the wicked is layed up for the righteous". I don't necessarily think that's monetary wealth. In a world gone mad, "wealth" is going to be food and supplies that will enable one to survive. So, without the Word of God to stand on and "overcome", survivalists, despite huge arsenals, caches and retreats, will succumb to the same judgments as the unprepared.

Without knowing and standing on Psalms 91 where it says, "no pestilence shall come near thy dwelling" even the most prepared will be destroyed by biological and chemical weapons, rampant disease and plagues.

If we as Believers are preparing for any purpose but to be used by God to minister to the lost and hurting (including Christians who did not prepare) then we could find ourselves running out of supplies very rapidly. However, if we've only got one box of food set by, a box of bandaids and a box of matches, and yet have the attitude that whoever the Lord sends will get whatever help we can give, then like the loaves and fishes, there will be enough to go around.

We had better believe in miracles because this is going to be a time of signs and wonders, and not just on the enemy's side. If we look at what God has done in the past we'll get a very good idea of what He will do in the future, because He "changes not" and "is the same yesterday, today and forever."

Therefore, if he provided water in the desert, manna from heaven, protection for the Hebrew boys in the firey furnace and closed the lions mouths, then we can expect to see those same kind of things again.

I believe that there are going to be Believers who will walk out of cities that have been nuked...without a bit of radiation (smell of smoke on their clothes) or burns. (Hebrew boys)

I believe that Believers are going to see times when they are directed by the Holy Spirit to stand still even though the enemy is coming. Even though they are in plain sight, those seeking to kill them will walk right on by, being "blinded" to their presence. (lions mouths closed)

I believe that for some Believers that are captured by the enemy, will walk right on out of their prisons as the angels of the Lord open the gates and lead them out (Paul and Silas in jail). The key here will be to be doing what Paul and Silas were doing...singing and praising the Lord!

I believe that a can of soup and a packet of crackers will serve 20 people just like a few loaves and fishes fed several thousand...with enough left over for seconds.

Finally, I believe that every miracle described in the Bible will be seen again as Believers begin to operate in the authority of the Word of God, the Name of Jesus and the Power of the Blood.

Back to Jewish Roots a Problem?

Below is a copy of a thread I posted in a forum at a Chrstian website. Please read it prayerfully and ask the Holy Spirit if there is indeed a problem with the "back to our Jewish Roots" movement popping up in churches all over the place.

"Please don't take this wrong, but I have some concern about this growing tendency in the Christian churches to focus on our Hebrew roots, which seems to be taking away from the focus on Jesus Christ and the Finished Work.

Here's why:

1. A Christian young man (that I know personally) began attending a Messianic synagogue. A year later he has become convinced that Jesus is NOT the Messiah! He is not Hebrew and did espouse Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Now, he has stepped back into bondage.

2. The Star of David is featured prominently in churches participating in this "back to our Jewish roots" movement and being worn by many christians instead of a cross. For more information about the roots of the star of David: http://www.seedofabraham.net/stardavd.html. What I find extremely interesting is that I went to find this teaching, I typed in star of david. Where before this teaching had appeared on the first page...now it doesn't appear at all. Every site that came up was promoting this symbol.

What prompted this post was when I was reading a response to another thread. The writer was writing in English and quoting the New Testament but several times used Hebrew names for the scriptural references that most English-speaking people, like me, wouldn't recognize. What is even more interesting, is that the New Testament was not written in Hebrew it was written in Greek! So, if the writer was wanting to go back to the original text, shouldn't they have been using the Greek name for Paul/Saul, instead of the Hebrew?

I see a separation developing where instead of "Jesus" one sees "Yeshua" all the time. Maybe that doesn't matter, but is there much difference in insisting on using "Yeshua" than what the Jehovah's Witnesses do in insisting that one cannot use the name "God"?

Don't take me wrong, I'm not saying anything against our Hebrew roots. My Lord and Savior was born Jewish, God has a special relationship with His chosen people. I am grafted in to the Vine and become an adopted daughter of Abraham...however Jesus came to set the captive free. And while a good understanding of Jewish festivals is vital to understanding prophecy, one must guard against falling back into bondage.

One must be especially diligent NOT to fall for every wind of doctrine. The Enemy will use whatever he can to lead Christians into false teaching. I'm not saying that the "back to our Hebrew roots" is a false teaching...but I do get a check in my spirit when I see a "movement" developing in the church. Unfortunately, the church just loves new movements... and doesn't always use wisdom and discernment in deciding which movement is ordained by God...after all look how entrenched into doctrine has become the pre-tribulation rapture teaching!

I would imagine that when the pre-trib rapture teaching first was introduced, there were some people that felt in their spirit that something wasn't right about that. Unfortunately, the majority decided this was a good teaching, and even had scripture to "back it up"...so that today on the eve of the Tribulation, we find the Body of christ more interested in prosperity than in preparedness."

Brace Yourselves America!

Okay, the President has arrived in Israel today supposedly to help them celebrate their 60th anniversary of being a nation. Actually his main purpose is to force Israel to give up land in return for peace. He has sworn that before he leaves office there will be "peace" in Israel.

Unfortunately America hasn't learned her lesson about getting involved in the "land for peace" plan (LFPP). For decades there has been an interesting (most would say "coincidental) connection between the LFPP and some kind of immediate disaster, either personal or natural.

Here's just a brief run down:
  • 10/91 - President Bush (the elder) opens conference in Madrid for the LFPP - the Perfect Storm hits New England and 35' waves crash into Kennebunk Port (Bush's home)
  • 08/92 - the LFPP talks move to Washington DC - Hurricane Andrew hits with $30 billion in damage and 180,000 left homeless
  • 01/16/94 - President Clinton meets with Syrian President to discuss the LFPP - in 24 hours 6.9 earthquake in southern California
  • 01/21/98 - Clinton and Albright snub Israeli PrimeMinister Benjamin Netanyahu - that same day the Monica Lewinski scandal breaks
  • 09/28/98 - Clinton meets with Arafat and Netanyahu to discuss the LFPP - Hurrican George slams into the Gulf Coast resulting in $1 billion in damage...the minute Arafat departs by plane the storm begins to die down
  • 10/98 - Arafat and Netanyahu meet with Clinton in Maryland to continue the LFPP talks - same week Texas is devastated by tornados and floods, $1 billion in damage and declared a major disaster by Clinton.
  • 11/30/98 - Arafat again in US to raise promised funds to build Palestinian State, supported by 42 nations - same day dramatic losses in market capitalization in the billions in Europe and US
  • 12/12/98 - Clinton goes to Palestinian-controlled part of Israel to discuss the LFPP - House of Representatives votes to impeach Clinton
  • 5/3/99 - Arafat scheduled to declare Palestinian state with full Clinton support, although Clinton does request a postponement - Super Tornado storm with winds clocked at 316 mph rages through Oklahoma and Kansas
  • 10/11/99 that week Jewish settlers forced to leave West Bank - Dow Jones suffers worst loss since 10/98, hurricane devastates North Carolina, and 7.1 earthquake hits southern California desert, felt in three states.

That's just a brief look at some of the "coincidences" surrounding the United States' involvement in the LFPP for Israel. Is it any surprise that Hurricane Katrina formed in the same week as a LFPP incident?

If you would like to read a complete analysis of the "coincidences" surrounding the entire LFPP, you might want to check out Eye to Eye - Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel by Bill Koenig.

Personally I don't much believe in coincidences when it comes to Israel. You know: "if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck..." I think that the occurrence of devastating disasters in relation to the LFPP makes it a "duck".

If this "duck" is real, then Americans had better get braced. If Bush has his way in forcing a LFPP deal in Israel, then we can expect to experience some really nasty disasters in the very near future. If you're not prepared, you had better do everything in your power to get as prepared as fast as you can...then cover your head and...duck!

Jim Bakker from Prosperity to Preparedness

Most people who have heard of Jim Bakker remember him as the televangelist who went to prison for tax evasion(?)/fraud...something like that (you can tell that it's really not important). I remember him as one of the first preachers of the prosperity gospel.

Today he'll be the first to tell you that when he was in prison he really started studying the Bible (afterall, what better way of knowing where he'd gone wrong?). During this time of intense study he realized that the Bible doesn't teach a pre-tribulation rapture...instead it makes it very clear that we are going to be here.

That's a teaching that does not go along with the prosperity gospel. Why not? Prosperity and preparedness do not go hand-in-hand. Afterall, the way the prosperity teaching goes you have to "plant your seed" into the ministry (which in turns lines the ministry's pockets and empties yours) in order to trick God into blessing you financially.

Preparedness on the other hand in about planting your seed (in a garden) and getting prepared for the "saving" of your household (as Noah did) and ministering to the lost and hurting during the Tribulation. Well, you can't get prepared and plant seeds for financial prosperity at the same time.

Today thousands (maybe millions) of people are being mislead into trying to build their kingdom here on earth, having the big house, the fancy car, the best clothes...yada yada yada...all as a sign that they are favored by God. In the process they are helping many of those ministries build their own little kingdoms.

"Kingdoms" because after the "king" steps down, then the prince takes over and keeps the kingdom going. Without looking too hard you can find several examples of those ministries that have passed on to the next generation or whose progeny are being groomed to step into the pulpit/throne.

Remember: "they have their reward". The Bible is very clear about those shepherds/pastors who mislead their flock. Their blood will be required of them.

Instead of coming out of prison and taking up the prosperity mantra again, Jim Bakker came out and basically said, "wake up folks! There's no getting out of here before the Tribulation". This could explain why you don't see him much on television...afterall it takes money to buy television time. Plus the major "Christian" networks rely on the prosperity teaching to pay the bills. So I doubt that his views find much support there.

BTW: I haven't talked to Jim Bakker about any of this, so much of the above is paraphrasing based on what he's said and written in recent years.

It's Not Too Late, continued

So what does what happened 2000 years ago have to do with what's happening how. Whether you believe it or not the plan of salvation began 6000 years ago when God decided that there was going to come a time when the reign of Sin in this world was going to end. Thus you have the whole Adam and Eve and the Serpent fiasco. One little screw-up on Adam and Eve's part and every person born after that is born into sin.

Here's the timeline: the Bible says that it took God 6 days to create the world and on the 7th He rested. Somewhere else in the Bible it says, "a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day". If you look at it that way, and calculating that from Biblical creation to today is 6000 years.

The Bible also said that at the end of the 6000 years some things were going to take place: earthquakes, famines, pestilence, wars, signs in the heavens...lots of them with an intensity never before experienced. When Jesus, Himself, was on the earth, He spoke about the things that were going to happen.

The purpose is going to be for one last chance for people to come to Him before He forever rids the earth of the being, Satan/Devil/Lucifer, who has caused so much misery in the world. It's because of him (and his fallen angel/demon buddies) that there are things like: death, sickness, addiction, murder, hatred, anger, pedophilia and a world of unhappiness.

So God decided a long time ago that there was going to come a time when all that would end. So Satan knowing that his time is short is getting ready to go on a rampage to end all rampages. During which time everyone in the world is going to have one last chance to make a choice who they want to serve: Satan or God. Then once all votes are cast, Revelation says, that God says "It is time" and puts His hand of protection over those who've chosen Him, while He pours out His Wrath on the rest of the world.

At that point Satan and his deadly crew are locked up (at the end of the 6th day-thousand years) and then there come a day/thousand years of rest for the rest of the world. At the end of which Satan is released for a short time to try and deceive the rest of the world one more time.

Imagine if you can a 1000 year period where there is no death...anyone born lives on and on because there is no sickness, no decay, no hatred, no greed, innocence, no sin...because the one who in behind all that nastiness is locked up. Then imagine that suddenly things begin to happen in the world that people have never seen...sickness, anger, jealousy, hatred and death! They'll think the world has gone crazy.

But you see God is giving the world one last chance to choose Him or reject Him...you see He doesn't force Himself on anybody. We all have a choice.

So you've just receive a brief rundown of Biblical history, with a warning that we are now at the end of the 6th day/6000 years. In about seven years the 1000 years of peace is going to start, but between now and then Satan is going to unleash a reign of terror and death like this world has never seen...if fact it's already started (tsunami/Indonesia, cyclone/Myanmar, AIDS, wars...)

Better get ready folks 'cause we are in for a bumpy ride and before it ends everyone will have to make a choice. For those who've already made a choice, then do what you can to prepare because it's going to get much worse and many reading this now will not survive to the end.

Think about it.

It's Not Too Late

If you're reading this then you are looking for answers as to what is happening in the world. Why are there so many wars? Why are people suffering from a lack of food? Why do you feel this sense of hopelessness? What is happening in the world with weird weather, earthquakes, peak oil, and volcanos. Is it all because of global warming? What's HAPPENING?!!

Over 2000 years ago, in the little country call Israel, the same one that is at the heart and focus of so much of the problems in the Middle East, God sent to earth His only Son. Why in the world would God do that? An ever better question might be, why in the world would the Son agree to leave heaven (the place many people believe they'll go when they die) to come down to a little backward dusty country? Love. That's it. Love.

John 3:16 says that God loved the world so much that he sent His Only Son and decreed that anyone who would believe that He was the Son of God would not die an eternal death but would live forever with Them.

Sounds easy, right? No. You see God, the creator of the universe, is also a Holy God...I mean afterall, if you make the world you get set the rules, right? So about 3000 years before sending His Son, He gave 10 little rules to live by that would ensure anyone the opportunity of eternal life.

Well, how many people do you know that abide by speed limits? Almost no one. How many people can go their entire life and never, ever, tell a little white lie? How many kids grow to adulthood without every rebelling against their parents? Zero? Right.

See that was the problem, people couldn't live by those ten simple rules for the reason that they were and are sinful (which means separated from God). However, God did set up a system that would allow those sins to be covered and forgiven, thus restoring a right relationship with Him. Unfortunately it was a pretty steep price...death. But it wasn't just death, it was that blood had to be spilled (Hebrews 9:22) to "cover" the sin.

For several thousand years, animals were sacrificed so that their blood would symbolically cover people's sins. Unfortunately that was not an ideal solution, because every year another lamb had to be killed to cover a person's sin. (Yes, a lamb per person!)

God is economical and realized that that wasn't the answer (but he knew that all along, and the lamb thing was just a hint of what His real plan was), so decided to pay the price Himself. He would send His Son to live among people and then when the time was right, the Son would shed His own blood. From that point on anyone who would believe on the Son would have forgiveness for sins and eternal life.

So that's what happened. And now, if you've read this far, you're wondering what that all has to do with what's happening today. Well, stick around. I'll tell you more tomorrow.

Just think on these things:

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

There is still hope...it's not too late.

Shake 'N Bake

If you want to know what God will do, look at what God has done. When it comes to earthquakes this really does apply. Earthquakes have occurred at almost every significant happening in the Bible and are predicted to occur in future events.

Past Earthquakes:

On Mt. Sinai when God gave the 10 commandments - Psalm 68:8
When Jesus died on Calvary - Mat 27:51-54
Three days later at Jesus resurrection - Mat 28:1-4
Deliverance of Paul and Silas from jail - Acts 16:26

Future Earthquakes:
As a sign of the end times, "beginnings of sorrows." Mar 13:8
At the opening of 6th seal Rev 6:12
As the trumpets begin to sound Rev 8:5-6
The 7th vial judgment (Wrath of God) Rev 16

Is it possible that the unusual earthquakes in the center of the United States in the last month or two are precursors to the judgment that is coming?

Nature does seem to be aiming at the bulls-eye of this country. Look at the devastating tornados that hit Virginia this week. Tornados and Virginia? Virginia is certainly not in the midst of tornado alley, for heaven's sake!

What about the fires in California and New Mexico? Before May and already the fire season has started?

Earthquakes (small shakers) occuring in Nevada, California, Alaska, Puerto Rico (US territory) and Illinois. Today is the 1st of May, and it's 7:30 am central time, and according to the USGS Earthquake Center there have been 11 earthquakes in parts of the US just since midnight! One in California was 4.2 (total of 2), Illinois 3.3, Nevada 2.9, Alaska 5.1 (total of 4).

This activity is NOT just today, it's ongoing. Maybe California, Alaska and even Nevada are used to getting earthquakes, but not Illinois! What's next? New York? Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago?

If this summer is indeed the summer that sees the start of the Tribulation, then we can expect to see a whole lot of shaking going on. Combine the earthquakes with the rising global temperatures, and 2008 could be a real shake 'n bake year.

Like a Gun Without Bullets

Fear is a spirit...all fear...fear replaces faith. Fear is the biggest obstacle to having faith. You can have pure water (faith), add in one drop of soap (fear) and you no longer have something that will sustain you, but is only good for tossing out.

Remember Job said: "what I feared has come upon me"

Speak to the fear using scripture. Everytime fear tries filling your head with what if's, speak the Word right back at it. Resist it. Fear is crippling in that it prevents the mind from thinking (just the opposite of the "sound mind" that we've been given).

I say this to everyone, get rid of the fear! As we head into the Tribulation period, we are going to see and hear things that would normally so paralyze a person with fear that if we let it, we will be unable to go on. If anyone thinks that what's coming is going to be just a physical battle to survive, you'd better rethink. All the gates of hell are going to be opened, as satan uses every weapon in his arsenal to rob, kill and destory every soul he can.

More important than having a rifle or gun will be having the Sword of the Word ready to use. Learn to speak out the Word against every problem and every enemy. Learn to take authority by the name of Jesus over every problem the devil and his minions throw at you. If you don't know the Word and how to use it, it'll be like having a gun and no bullets, totally useless.

Strap on your armour folks we're heading to the front lines and, if it hasn't already in your life... the battle is about to engage!

Day of the Lord e-study

If you've ever been confused by all of the different theories that you've heard concerning the end-times as described in the Bible, then you need to get my new e-study "Day of the Lord". This is a word study that pulls together all of the different variations of the term in the Word of God. Suddenly you will actually see how both old and new testament prophecies say exactly the same thing.

In some instances I have commented on what I understand, but always you are encouraged to study for yourself. However with this e-study guide the time you would have to spend has been virtually eliminated because all of the verses are there arranged by category.

If you have wondered about the timing of endtime events then you definitely want to have this! New information has come to light about the solar system that points to the fact that the year of 2008 could be extremely significant in prophetic events. There is no longer time to waste on getting ahead, pursuing a financial future...no we are on the edge of eternity and you need to prepare mentally and spiritually so that you can be counted an Overcomer. Wisdom of Word or World

Too often Christians accept the wisdom of the world instead of really looking at what the Word of God says. This is especially true when it comes to survival preparedness. The wisdom of the world says you had better have a way to defend yourself against the mindless hoards of killers, rapists and thieves.

One of the most commonly recommended methods of defense is a firearm. Which is why almost every person who is preparing is also accumulating at least one or more firearms along with a good supply of ammunition. Even a brief visit to any online survival group and a look through their archives will reveal a number of conversations about the wisdom of having a gun, rifle or shotgun.

However, what's the wisdom of the Word say? First of all, before I get to much further into this, let me point out that I believe in the right to keep and bear arms, and I would not hesitate to use a gun to defend a loved one.

Having said that I am beginning to wonder if that's just worldly wisdom seeping into my mind. What does the Word say about defending oneself?

Since we are talking about the end times, look at this:

Psalms 20:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;

Here is says that in the "day of trouble"...which is a term associate with end times (day of wrath, day of the Lord, day of darkness, etc.) Here it says that God Himself will defend. That's one...are there others?

Psa 7:10 My defense is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.

Psa 31:2 Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for a house of defense to save me.

Psa 59:9 Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defense.

Psa 59:16-17 But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble. 17 Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defense, and the God of my mercy.

Psa 62:2 He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.

Psa 62:6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defense; I shall not be moved.

Psa 94:22 But the LORD is my defense; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

Does the Word say that God is our protection and refuge?

Psa 46:1 To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Deu 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Psa 145:20 The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

Pro 3:26 For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken. What takes a foot but a trap. Here is a promise that God will protect from "running" into traps.

Psa 37:17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous. It's interesting that here the Word says that the "arms of the wicked that be broken" when today we use the word "arms" to describe weapons.

Does that mean we should not have firearms? That's something you have to decide for yourself; it's between you and your God. However, here's something to think about:

Rev 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Here is clearly says that if a sword (major weapon of the day) is used to kill then whoever uses the sword will be killed. Since the gun is the major weapon of today this could mean that if the saints rely on a physical weapon to protect and defend them that they can expect to be killed that way.

Since the weapon spoken of figuratively in the New Testament is the Sword of the Word, is it possible that we are to use the Word of God as protection? That idea would seem to be confirmed by:

Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Here it says that it is the "word" of the saints' testimony that allows them to overcome "him" being the Antichrist. Since it's Satan who controls the Antichrist and those other enemies that would attempt to attack or destroy us then it's the Sword or the Word of God that we are to use.

Will I have a gun? Yes, at least for hunting. Will I use it to defend myself or loved ones?....that is a question that can only be answered at that time. It's a question I will have to answer for myself, as you will have to decide for yourself where you stand.

"Jericho" Not EVEN Close to Reality

Someone mentioned a few moments ago that "Jericho" was coming on...obviously a fan.

Well, I must admit I stopped being a fan long time ago. While I was very excited about the show when it first came on, by the end of about the 6th program, I was getting very disappointed. When it started focusing on some "evil" betrayer in a high government position that pretty much totally turned me off.

I've only caught a few seconds of the shows since it was brought back and I don't regret my decision not to watch it. Personally, I think that the "recovery" has been much more rapid than would normally occur.

Initially, I liked the premise of the show, but it totally failed to focus on how people were coping with the loss of all that was familiar. Instead it turned into a conspiracy-laden farce that I think gives people that idea that if they can just make it through the first few months after 23 major cities are destroyed by nuclear bombs that everything will pretty much return to normal (electricity, vehicles running..which means there's gas..television) I mean, give me a break!

Okay, that's my "Jericho" rant.

I'm Back

I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted here. I've been busy working and making my own preps. I've also been studying prophecy even more. Doing more word studies, trying to find out exactly that the Bible says that Christians can expect during the Tribulation.

Since the Great Tribulation is a time when the Anti-Christ under Satan's control persecutes Christian and Jews (and anyone else who refuses to bow to him), then we know times are going to be difficult. However, there's also much in the Bible about God's protection for His people, so I'm trying to figure out, according to the Word, what this protection is.

Are the promises of protection only for a time other than the Tribulation? Is it only for a certain Believers? Is there something about the Tribulation that is meant to be a separating of the sheep and goats? The sheep meaning those who "know" His voice, and the goats being those that are more interested in serving God for what they can get, or have "itching ears" or "who loved not the Truth"?

Anyway, I'm going to be studying this and will keep you updated. If you have any ideas based on your own studies, that you can back up with scripture, then I will be more than happy to welcome your comments.
